The Shitzu Squalo is the Ultimate Edition boat in GTA 6: a speedboat painted in a pink-to-blue gradient, fitted with an explosives-laden weapons crate and docked at Washington Beach in Vice City. Standard Edition players do not get this version.
How to get the Squalo
- Own the Ultimate Edition ($99.99), or add the $20 Ultimate Edition Upgrade to a Standard copy. Our upgrade guide covers PS5 and Xbox.
- Play the story. Rockstar says Ultimate items unlock through Jason and Lucia’s story, with new ones behind each chapter.
- Find it at its dock in Washington Beach once it is unlocked. Rockstar has not said which chapter that is.
Fans have also spotted plain Squalos on the water in Trailer 2, so Standard players will likely see the model around Vice City. That is fan tracking, not a Rockstar statement.
What Rockstar says and shows
Rockstar pitches the Squalo two ways. It is for casting in Gambit Bay and reeling in catches, and the weapons crate makes it ready for the open ocean. Gambit Bay is an official name that fans read as the game’s Biscayne Bay; Rockstar has not placed it on a map. What is known about fishing is on our fishing page.
Rockstar’s images show dolphins swimming alongside the boat, and in another shot a police boat and helicopter chasing it. Washington Beach is a returning district name from the 2002 Vice City, covered on the Vice City region page.

The Vice City link is the point. The original Squalo was the series’ nod to the powerboat Sonny Crockett used in Miami Vice, and GTA 6 brings it back to the same waters. More on the old game in our Vice City history.
Real-world basis
Rockstar does not name real boats, and fan readings of the new one differ. Some fans see a Chris-Craft Stinger-style sport boat, like the original. The GTA Wiki says the GTA 6 hull is bigger and stepped, closer to a Bayliner 2855 Ciera Sunbridge cabin cruiser. Treat both as fan identification.
What is not known yet
- What the weapons crate holds beyond “explosives”, and whether it restocks.
- Whether the Squalo can be moved to another dock or stored.
- How fishing works from it.
- Its speed compared with other boats.
