Trailer 1 passes Port Gellhorn Pawn & Gun, and community wikis place the first robbery Rockstar ever showed, the Uncle Jack’s Liquor holdup, in the same town.

Where it is and how to get there
Rockstar calls Port Gellhorn “Leonida’s forgotten coast” and has not placed it on a map. Community mapping puts it on the Gulf coast in the west of the state, at the far end of Interstate 404 from Vice City. In Trailer 1 a highway sign points drivers onto westbound I-404 toward Kelly County (community transcription), the county community wikis give the town. Expect a long drive past Grassrivers or Ambrosia to get here from the city.
Rockstar’s description
The tagline is “Live Hard,” and the headline is “This is Leonida’s forgotten coast.” Rockstar’s text lists what is left of the tourist trade (cheap motels, shut-down attractions, empty strip malls) and then the turn: a new economy “fueled by malt liquor, painkillers, and truck stop energy drinks.”
Real-world inspiration
Port Gellhorn is Panama City and the wider Florida Panhandle. Panama City Beach was a spring-break capital for decades before it banned drinking on the beach in March, and Florida was the center of the pill-mill boom around 2010, which is the painkiller economy in Rockstar’s text. “Forgotten coast” is a real phrase too: it is the tourism nickname for the quieter shoreline east of Panama City. Fans have matched Delights to a Panama City strip club and Hank’s Waffles to a former waffle diner in Panama City Beach.
Fans read the name Gellhorn as a nod to war correspondent Martha Gellhorn, Ernest Hemingway’s third wife. Rockstar has not said so. Rumor
What we have seen
Trailer 1’s back half plays out on this kind of road: the Uncle Jack’s Liquor robbery, the Starlet Motel, and the pair driving away from Port Gellhorn Pawn & Gun, whose sign carries the town’s name. Trailer 2 showed the half-empty Crossroad Park Mini Mall.
The Extended Look briefly showed Jason and Lucia robbing a Hank’s Waffles diner. Kotaku and GamesRadar noted that the same scene first surfaced in the 2022 leak, with the diner’s layout and name unchanged. Community wikis also record a bartender inside Delights in the Extended Look. Rockstar’s screenshots fill in the rest: the motel’s lit vacancy sign, the grow room, a bonfire party and the Delights parking lot.

Story ties
Rockstar’s People and Places page pairs the Real Dimez, the rap duo signed to Only Raw Records, with its Port Gellhorn panel. The site alternates people and places, so that does not make Port Gellhorn their home, and no official bio names the town. Rockstar also has not said who runs the painkiller trade.
What is rumored
The August 2026 leaked clips included a game store called Game Hoorde and a shoe shop called We Have Shoes, and the 2022 breach mentioned a Gellhorn International Raceway.
