Delights Cabaret

official

Delights Cabaret is the roadside strip club in Port Gellhorn, the faded beach town Rockstar calls “Leonida’s forgotten coast.” It is official: Rockstar put it in its Port Gellhorn screenshots. What goes on inside, and who in the story is tied to it, is much less clear.

What the screenshot shows

Rockstar’s night shot looks down on the club’s wet parking lot. We checked the details against the full-size image.

• The roadside sign. Pink script reading “Delights,” the word “Cabaret” and a dancer’s silhouette, with “GIRLS” in neon down both sides. The marquee underneath reads “New girls, new food, open all night, hiring dancers.”
• The building. A red-lit single-story club with its own “Delights” sign and a smaller marquee over the door: hiring dancers, open all night, free admission. An “Entrance” sign, posters on the wall, one of them for a ladies’ night.
• The door. A bouncer stands in the doorway while a man lies sprawled on the pavement at his feet. Our reading is that he has just been thrown out.
• The lot. A lifted green pickup on huge tires by the door, muscle cars and sedans, and two people with a loaded shopping cart by the sign post.

Where else it appears

We have not matched the Extended Look frame ourselves, and community wikis disagree about what that scene shows. The store robbery guide covers the Uncle Jack’s holdup.

Much more detailed descriptions of the interior circulate online. They come from leaked footage, which we do not use; the leaks page explains what leaked and when.

The Dre’Quan claim

Some pages say Dre’Quan Priest is shown working the sound board inside Delights in the Extended Look’s outro. We found no source for it. GTA News’s recap of the Extended Look places Dre’Quan outside the Jack of Hearts, hugging Jason and Lucia, and says Cal Hampton gives the closing speech. Dre’Quan’s official bio talks about booking acts into Boobie’s strip club, which is the Jack of Hearts in Vice City. Treat any link between him and Delights as unverified. Unverified

Delights vs the Jack of Hearts

The Jack of Hearts page has the Vice City club in full.

Real-world inspiration

Community wikis match the exterior to Bambi’s Dollhouse in Panama City, the Panhandle town Port Gellhorn is based on, and to Secrets in Tampa, and the interior to a former club on the Overseas Highway in Islamorada. All three are fan identifications.

What is still unknown

• Whether you can go in and what you can do there. As precedent only, GTA V’s Vanilla Unicorn let you buy private dances and was tied to Trevor’s story.
• Who owns Delights, and whether any character works there.
• Whether it plays a part in Port Gellhorn’s painkiller economy, which Rockstar’s region text names outright.
