Electric Fang Tattoo is the Ultimate Edition’s tattoo parlor, and Rockstar credits its designs to a real art collective. It sits in Stockyard, the mural-covered arts district of Vice City, and Rockstar sums it up as the district’s most iconic ink bar, with more than 50 signature tattoos for Jason and Lucia, all designed by the art collective FAILE.
What Rockstar says
The item appears on rockstargames.com/VI under the Tattoo Shop label and closes with the standard line, “Only open for business with the Ultimate Edition.” Rockstar Support and the site’s edition comparison call it the Electric Fang Tattoo Parlor. The PlayStation and Microsoft Store listings phrase it as a choice from over 50 signature tattoos, and both group it among five “Special Destinations” only open to Ultimate owners. official The full edition list is on Ultimate Edition items, and the editions comparison shows what Standard leaves out.
What the official images show
| Image | What you see | Status |
|---|---|---|
| The sign | A round neon sign with a snarling wolf’s head and red neon lettering over the door at night; a masked artist waits outside | shown |
| Lucia in the chair | Lucia, with a buzz cut, scrolls her phone while an artist in a white ski mask tattoos her thigh | shown |
| The entrance | Jason and Lucia pose under the neon sign | shown |
| Jason’s back | A large back piece on Jason as two masked artists look on, one beside an arcade cabinet | shown |
The white ski masks are the parlor’s look: every artist in Rockstar’s images wears one. The walls are papered with black-and-white comic-style posters, and one of them reads FAILE. The arcade cabinet carries the word DELUXX, which is the name of FAILE’s real arcade installations, Deluxx Fluxx. That link is our reading.
Who FAILE are
FAILE is a Brooklyn art duo, Patrick McNeil and Patrick Miller, working together since 1999; the name is an anagram of “A Life”, their original project. They built a following with wheatpasted street posters and stencils, then moved into paintings, sculpture, public art and interactive arcade rooms, and the Brooklyn Museum gave them a retrospective in 2015. That collage style, built from found images, is all over the parlor walls in Rockstar’s shots (our reading).
How it ties to Jason and Lucia
Both leads already have ink in official screenshots, including the script on Lucia’s forearm in the image at the top of this page. Electric Fang is where you add more. Rockstar’s Vice City Style item, a separate Ultimate extra, also promises exclusive outfits and tattoos; whether those are FAILE designs is not stated. See Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval for their looks so far.
Stockyard’s other Ultimate business is Stock 305, the streetwear store, so one trip covers both.
Real-world inspiration
Stockyard is fan-matched to Wynwood in Miami, and community wikis match the Electric Fang building to 450 NW 28th Street, which is a real tattoo shop, Green Avenue Tattoo. rumor
Still unknown
- Prices, and whether tattoos can be removed or covered up.
- Whether Standard players get any tattoo parlor at all.
- Which chapter opens it. Rockstar says Ultimate items are uncovered chapter by chapter.
