Vice City International Airport is the main airport of Vice City, and the place where the Extended Look’s Megamundo job begins. Its three-letter code, VCI, is on overhead highway signs in both trailers. The full name is what community wikis and outlets use; we have not found it in Rockstar’s own text, so the name is tagged reported while the airport itself is official footage.

The Extended Look scene
The last and longest job in the Extended Look starts here. Valentina, who has hired Jason and Lucia as private security, meets them at the airport while they wait for clients. Andrés de León lands by private jet and is introduced to the pair on the tarmac. The group leaves in a convoy for Megamundo HQ downtown, where the night goes wrong.
Valentina shares a name and look with a character from GTA Online’s 2025 Money Fronts update, and fans and outlets widely read her as the same person. Rockstar has not said so. reported
Can you fly from it?
Not announced. Planes and helicopters appear in footage as world traffic, but nothing so far shows a player flying a plane. Community wikis describe an airport people mover modeled on the MIA Mover, and recaps report rideable buses, trains and a Vice City Metro, so the airport’s rail link may matter more than its runways. reported See how fast travel works.
Precedent. In GTA San Andreas you could buy a ticket at an airport terminal and fly between cities once they were unlocked. GTA V’s Los Santos International sold no tickets; you stole a plane instead. Rockstar has not said which way GTA 6 goes.
Real-world inspiration
Miami International Airport. Community wikis match the control tower to MIA’s and the people mover to the MIA Mover. rumor The 2002 game called its airport Escobar International.
The real airport has become part of the game’s marketing. The “Welcome to Vice City” sign lifted onto the roof of the Kaseya Center on September 22, 2026 can be seen from planes approaching MIA, according to CBS Miami. Miami-Dade’s wider talks with Rockstar also floated rebranding Miami International as “Vice City Airport,” one of several ideas NBC 6 listed on September 3, 2026, when nothing had been formally agreed. reported The Sahara Arena page and our Kaseya Center sign story have the details.
Still unknown
- Whether the terminal is open to explore outside missions.
- Whether flights link Vice City to other regions such as the Leonida Keys or Port Gellhorn.
- Whether Rockstar ever prints the full name in its own material.
