The Hawk & Little Morgan Revolvers are an Ultimate Edition weapon set in GTA 6: two versions of the same powerful revolver, one for Jason and one for Lucia, with palm-tree-etched grips, engraved detailing and a high-performance scope. Standard Edition owners do not get them.
How to get the Morgan revolvers
- Own the Ultimate Edition ($99.99), or add the $20 Ultimate Edition Upgrade to a Standard copy. The upgrade guide covers both stores.
- Play the story. Rockstar says Ultimate items unlock through Jason and Lucia’s story, with new ones behind each chapter. It has not named the chapter for the revolvers.
- Check Ammu-Nation. TheSixthAxis’s version of the edition copy says the pair turns up at Ammu-Nation stores as the story progresses (reported). The shorter copy on Rockstar’s site does not say where they are collected.
The rest of the bonus list, including the engraved Girardi ES9 and Klose K17, is on the Ultimate Edition items checklist.
The name
Hawk & Little is the maker; Morgan is the model. Rockstar’s heading reads Hawk & Little Morgan Revolvers, and some lists have wrongly split it into a “Hawk” and a “Little Morgan” revolver. The GTA Wiki suggests Morgan nods to Arthur Morgan, the lead of Red Dead Redemption 2. Rockstar has not said so.
Vice City callbacks
The revolvers are packed with nods to the old Vice City games:
| Detail | What it points to | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Styling sourced from the Vercetti Estate | Tommy Vercetti’s mansion on Starfish Island in the 2002 GTA Vice City | Confirmed (Rockstar copy) |
| Palm-tree-etched grips | Part of the classic Vice City styling, in Rockstar’s words; the pre-order pack’s weapon pattern copies Tommy’s palm tree shirt | Confirmed (Rockstar copy) |
| Serial number 291002 (Lucia’s) | October 29, 2002, GTA Vice City’s North American release | Reported (PC Gamer, GTA Wiki) |
| Serial number 311006 (Jason’s) | October 31, 2006, Vice City Stories’ North American release | Reported (PC Gamer, GTA Wiki) |
Whether you can visit the Vercetti Estate in GTA 6 is not known. The old game’s story is covered in our Vice City history, and the palm tree weapon pattern is part of the pre-order bonus.
Hawk & Little in earlier games
Hawk & Little is not new. According to the GTA Wiki, it made several GTA V and GTA Online guns, including the Pistol, Combat Pistol, Pistol .50 and Heavy Revolver. Its logo echoes Smith & Wesson’s. The 2002 Vice City’s revolver was the Python, so a big-bore revolver with Vice City styling has history.
Real-world basis
Rockstar does not name real guns. PC Gamer says the Morgan is based on a Smith & Wesson 629. The GTA Wiki goes further and says Lucia’s looks like a 629 Classic while Jason’s is closer to the older Model 29. That is press and fan identification.
What is not known yet
- Whether Jason and Lucia can swap versions, and whether the scope can be removed.
- Damage and reload speed compared with the pistols.
- Whether standard Morgans are sold in the world.
- Whether the Ammu-Nation pickup in TheSixthAxis’s copy is how it works in the final game.
Every named gun is on the GTA 6 weapons list.
