What is in the Vintage Vice City Pack
Rockstar pitches the pack as a flashback "to when the neon burned brightest," and its media page carries twelve official images of the contents.
- '55 Vapid Stanier. A two-tone Vapid sedan from the 1950s. The Stanier name returns from GTA V, where it was a modern four-door; this is the vintage version. Rockstar's first pack image shows Jason and Lucia outside the Ocean View Hotel with the Stanier behind them, and Rockstar's own caption names the hotel, a landmark from the 2002 Vice City. More on the '55 Vapid Stanier page.
- Shore Court Garage. A personal garage a short walk from Ocean Beach. Rockstar says it has a weapon locker and a secure place to deposit stolen goods to be fenced, which makes it a working base, not just parking. None of Rockstar's twelve pack images shows the garage itself. More on the Shore Court Garage page.
- 1980s outfits and hairstyles. Rockstar's copy describes Jason's linen suit in vintage pastel and Lucia's red sequin mini dress and curls.
- Tropical weapon pattern. A palm-print finish for most guns, modeled on the palm-tree shirt Tommy Vercetti wore in GTA Vice City.
None of it changes the story. The Stanier is a classic car, the outfits and pattern are cosmetic, and the garage is a convenience.
When does the pre-order bonus end?
The last day is Thursday, November 19, 2026, launch day. Take-Two's wording is "all Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders and purchases before November 20, 2026," and the Microsoft Store listing puts the cutoff at 23:59:59 on November 19. official So you do not need to pre-order to get the pack: a purchase on launch day qualifies.
Boxed copies carry one extra caveat. The Rockstar Store sells its boxes with the pack "while supplies last," so a late box order there may come without it. official Rockstar has not said whether a retailer box bought after November 19 still unlocks the pack. not announced In every case, the day you buy counts, not the day you redeem the code.
Who qualifies
The rule is about when you buy, not which edition, and not when you redeem a code.
- Digital buyers. Any purchase of Standard or Ultimate before November 20, 2026 qualifies, whether it is a pre-order or a launch-day purchase.
- Boxed-copy buyers. Rockstar Support lists physical pre-orders as the game code plus the Vintage Vice City Pack. TheSixthAxis reported the Rockstar Store's "while supplies last" caveat back in June, so a box bought late may not include it.
- Standard owners who upgrade later. You already have the pack if you bought Standard before the cutoff. The $20 upgrade adds the Ultimate items, not a second pack.
- Buyers who cancel and buy again. The new purchase still gets the pack if it is made before November 20, because the rule covers every purchase (our reading of Take-Two's wording). The GTA+ month is different: Rockstar Support says refunding and pre-ordering again does not earn a second month. Store rules are in how to cancel or get a refund on a GTA 6 pre-order.
- Collector's Box buyers. Rockstar's $399.99 collector's box, The Goodtime State - Vice City Collection, is merchandise, and the store says the game is sold separately. official It holds no game code, so on its own it does not earn the pack (our reading); buy the game itself before November 20. See GTA 6 Collector's Edition: what is in the box.
This is not the Ultimate Edition content
The two often get mixed up. The Vintage Vice City Pack comes with both editions. The Ultimate extras, such as the '95 Grotti Cheetah, the Squalo speedboat, the Paradise Garage and five Ultimate-only shops, cost $20 more. An Ultimate buyer gets both sets. A Standard buyer gets only the pack, and can add the Ultimate set later with the $20 upgrade. Every Ultimate item is on the editions comparison.
The GTA+ month is a separate extra
Digital pre-orders on PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store also include one free month of GTA+, Rockstar's subscription for the existing GTA Online. It is not part of the pack and does nothing inside GTA 6. On PlayStation, claim it by March 31, 2027. On Xbox, redeem it in the Microsoft Store's Offers & Credits section within 180 days. On both consoles the membership then renews at $7.99 a month until you cancel. Boxed copies do not get it. The steps and the renewal switch are in how to claim the free GTA+ month.

Frequently asked questions
What is the GTA 6 pre-order bonus?
The Vintage Vice City Pack: a '55 Vapid Stanier sedan, the Shore Court Garage near Ocean Beach, 1980s-style outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia, and a tropical pattern for most guns.
Do I need the Ultimate Edition to get the pre-order bonus?
No. The Vintage Vice City Pack comes with the Standard and Ultimate Editions alike. It is separate from the Ultimate Edition extras.
When does the GTA 6 pre-order bonus end?
Buy by November 19, 2026. Take-Two says all pre-orders and purchases before November 20 include the Vintage Vice City Pack, and the Xbox listing sets the cutoff at 23:59:59 on November 19. You do not have to pre-order: buying on launch day still counts.
Do physical copies get the pre-order bonus?
Yes. Rockstar Support lists physical pre-orders as one code for the game plus the Vintage Vice City Pack. The Rockstar Store marks its boxed offer "while supplies last," so a box bought late may not include it; check the packaging or listing. What counts is when you bought the box, not when you redeem the code.
Is the GTA+ month part of the pre-order bonus?
No, it is a separate extra for digital purchases on PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store before November 20; boxed copies do not get it. It is one month of GTA+ for the existing GTA Online, and it auto-renews at $7.99 a month unless you turn renewal off.
What changed on this page
- Added a section on when the bonus ends (buy before November 20, 2026; launch-day purchases count), what happens if you cancel and buy again, and a note that Rockstar's $399.99 Collector's Box has no game in it, so it does not earn the pack.
- Corrected who qualifies: the pack depends on when you buy, not when you redeem, Rockstar Support lists it with physical pre-orders (the Rockstar Store adds "while supplies last" for its boxes), and Xbox digital pre-orders get the GTA+ month too. Also noted that Rockstar's own image caption names the Ocean View Hotel, and that none of its pack images shows the Shore Court Garage.
