Tisha-Wocka is a flea market in Vice City, and so far it exists only as a name. Rockstar’s description of the city runs from the art deco hotels of Ocean Beach and the panaderías of Little Cuba to “the bootleg brands of the Tisha-Wocka flea market,” out to VC Port. official
That makes it one of only four Vice City places Rockstar chose to name in its own words, and the only one it sells on knockoffs.
What has been shown
Nothing we can identify. No official screenshot caption names the market, and no trailer shot or Extended Look scene has been tied to it by Rockstar or by the recaps we checked. unknown
It is not alone. Little Cuba, named in the same sentence, has not been tied to a shot either, while Ocean Beach and VC Port both turn up in trailers and screenshots.
The name and the real-world match
Rockstar does not explain the name. Community wikis trace it to Opa-tisha-wocka-locka, the Seminole place name that the real city of Opa-locka, in north Miami-Dade, is shortened from. Fans match the market to Opa-locka and its flea market culture. Both are fan readings, not Rockstar’s. rumor
Community wikis also use Tisha-Wocka for the neighborhood around the market, the way they treat Little Cuba as a district. Rockstar’s line only calls it a flea market. Every other Miami match is on the real-life locations page.
Bootleg brands in a parody world
“Bootleg brands” is a joke with two layers. Every brand in Leonida is already a Rockstar parody of a real one, from Arrow Gasoline to Uncle Jack’s Liquor, so a market full of fakes is selling knockoffs of knockoffs. The parody brands spotted so far are on the brands page. Whether Tisha-Wocka’s stalls sell anything you can actually buy is not known.
Still unknown
- Where it is, and whether it is a whole neighborhood or one market.
- Whether you can shop there, and what the bootleg goods are.
- Whether any mission, robbery or fence runs through it.
- Whether it appears in any footage Rockstar has already released.
