The ‘55 Vapid Stanier is the GTA 6 pre-order bonus car: a two-tone 1950s sedan that comes in the Vintage Vice City Pack with its own garage near Ocean Beach. Every pre-order, and every purchase made before November 20, 2026, gets it.

Take-Two’s rule is simple: all pre-orders and purchases before November 20, 2026 include the pack. The day you buy is what counts, not the day you redeem a code. The Rockstar Store marks its boxed offer “while supplies last”, so a box bought late may not include the pack. Rockstar has not said how the car is handed over in the game or at what point in the story the garage opens.
Where it lives: Shore Court Garage
Rockstar pitches the Stanier for cruising Shore Drive, an official street name that fans read as the game’s Ocean Drive. You keep it in the Shore Court personal garage, which Rockstar places a stone’s throw from the sand at Ocean Beach. The garage also has a weapon locker and a secure place to leave stolen goods to be fenced, so it works as a small base rather than just parking. Where it appears
Rockstar’s Vintage Vice City Pack images show the two-tone Stanier parked outside the Ocean View Hotel. The hotel is a callback: it was Tommy Vercetti’s first safehouse in the 2002 GTA Vice City (more in our Vice City history). Fan vehicle trackers believe the same car is visible outside the hotel in Trailer 1. Rockstar has not said so.
The Stanier in earlier GTA games
The Stanier name comes from the HD era. In GTA IV it was the body under the police cruiser, NOOSE cruiser and taxi. GTA V and GTA Online added the civilian Stanier, a 1990s full-size sedan styled on the Ford Crown Victoria, according to the GTA Wiki. A 1950s Stanier is new. The GTA Wiki also spots a modern Stanier in An Extended Look, so the name may cover more than one car in GTA 6 (fan identification). Vapid itself is the series’ long-running Ford parody, and it also builds the ‘67 Dominator Buggy and Jason’s Ganado in GTA 6.
Real-world basis
Rockstar does not name the real cars behind its designs, so everything here is identification by press and fans:
- PC Gamer calls it GTA’s version of the 1955 Ford Crown Victoria.
- GTABase points to a 1956 Ford Fairlane Club Sedan, and links the car parked outside the hotel to the vintage 1955 Oldsmobile 88 that sits outside the Avalon Hotel on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach.
What is not known yet
- Top speed, handling and upgrade options.
- Whether it can be modified at the edition shops or ordinary garages.
- Whether the Stanier or the Shore Court Garage will be sold after November 19.
- Whether other ‘55 Staniers turn up in traffic for players who miss the deadline.

The pre-order car: the '55 Vapid Stanier
Every pre-order and purchase before November 20 includes the Vintage Vice City Pack (Take-Two): the '55 Vapid Stanier, the Shore Court Garage, 80s outfits and hairstyles, and a weapon pattern. Amazon's boxed code counts; its listing says "Pre-order to receive the Vintage Vice City Pack."
