Crest Kayak

official

The Crest Kayak is an Ultimate Edition vehicle in GTA 6: an orange kayak parked at Jason’s safehouse in the Leonida Keys. Rockstar bundles it with the Dinka Enduro dirt bike under the name Jason’s Safehouse Vehicles, and pitches the pair as a way to “switch gears and soak up the sun.”

How to get the Crest Kayak

1. Own the Ultimate Edition ($99.99), or add the $20 Ultimate Edition Upgrade to a Standard copy. The Ultimate Edition is digital only. See how to upgrade.
2. Play the story. Rockstar says Ultimate items are threaded through the story, with new ones uncovered behind each chapter. It has not said when the safehouse vehicles appear.
3. Collect it at Jason’s safehouse.

Standard Edition players do not get this set unless they buy the upgrade. Everything else in the bonus is on the Ultimate Edition items checklist.

What Rockstar has shown

Rockstar’s gallery for the set has three images, and its captions describe them. official

• The safehouse. The outside of Jason’s stilt house with the Vapid Ganado, the Dinka Enduro and the Crest Kayak parked together.
• The bike. A green Dinka Enduro outside a garage.
• The kayak. Jason, shirtless, paddling an orange Crest Kayak across the water.

An orange kayak also appears in one of Rockstar’s Mount Kalaga screenshots, the image at the top of this page. Rockstar’s caption describes a person in a life vest kayaking toward a bridge in Mount Kalaga National Park. Up close, the logo on the hull reads “crest”. shown

Our reading: Crest is a kayak brand in the world of Leonida, not a one-off for Jason, and kayaks are likely to turn up outside the Ultimate Edition. What the Ultimate Edition adds is Jason’s own, parked at his door. Rockstar has not said how Standard players get on the water.

Kayaking as an activity

Kayaking is shown in Rockstar’s own images: the Ultimate Edition shot of Jason paddling and the Mount Kalaga screenshot. shown It sits on our activities list alongside fishing, scuba diving and airboats. Beyond the images, very little is known about how it plays.

Dates. Vice, reporting TGG’s preview on September 1, 2026, says GTA 6 has no scripted dates: you invite the other character to an open-world activity, and Rockstar named kayaking, zoo visits and beach walks as examples. reported The relationship page and the date guide cover the rest of what previews said.

GTABase lists the Crest Kayak as a one-seater. If that is right, a kayak date means two kayaks, or a different boat; neither has been shown. fan database

Where to paddle

Rockstar has not said. Jason’s safehouse stands on stilts over the water in the Leonida Keys, so the Keys are the obvious place to start (our reading), and the official screenshot puts a kayaker on a river under a rail bridge in Mount Kalaga. Whether you can carry the kayak on a vehicle, or launch it anywhere else, is unknown.

Real-world basis

Rockstar does not name real brands. Fans match the Crest name to Crescent Kayaks, and GTABase matches the boat to Crescent’s Splashback, Ultralite and Primo models. Treat that as fan identification. GTABase also lists the kayak as new to the series.

What is not known yet

• Which chapter unlocks the safehouse vehicles.
• Whether the kayak follows Jason if his hideout changes. Rob Nelson has said hideouts change by chapter (reported).
• Whether Lucia can use it.
• Whether you can fish from it, or use it to reach places boats cannot.
