GTA 6 phone apps: every app and in-game website so far
Three GTA 6 phone apps have appeared in Rockstar's own footage: the WAINK car scanner, the Ryde Me ride app and Messages. Press reports name six more, including Snapmatic, and a batch of domains Take-Two registered in 2025 hints at in-game websites.

Every app and what it does
The phone is the hub for a lot of GTA 6's systems: stealing cars, getting around, banking and keeping Jason and Lucia's relationship alive. Here is each app with its real-world parody. For button-by-button steps, see how to use the phone in GTA 6.
The Extended Look shows the phone in use: WAINK scanning a parked car, a Ryde Me pickup, the iFruit satnav and text threads between Jason and Lucia. Engadget reads another feed as a nod to GTA V's Lifeinvader social network: an optional livestream, opened with R3, from the streamer Camilo riding in the trunk of the car Lucia steals. Vice's roundup of the July 2026 previews lists BuckMe, RydeMe, Scooter Bros, WhatUp, Waink, Snapmatic and a fitness app. Rob Nelson told Famitsu the phone is now a physical object in the world, not the 2D graphic GTA V used. reported
The phone also ties into the two-lead setup. Dazed's feature describes cruising as Jason or swapping to Lucia in the passenger seat to scroll the in-game phone; that is the writer's description, not a Rockstar quote. IGN's preview, as KeenGamer summarized it, counts messages toward the relationship, and Rob Nelson told Famitsu that effort can restore a bond that has cooled. GTABase, a fan database, adds that ignored texts wear it down, which no outlet has repeated (rumor). See how the relationship works.
Stealing a car: scan with WAINK first, then pick the right tool. Full steps in how to steal cars in GTA 6.
Getting around: Ryde Me for a lift, Scooter Bros to fetch your car. See how to fast travel.
Money: BuckMe shows the joint bank account. Banked money is safe from death and arrest; cash is not. More on how money works.
In-game websites from domain registrations
rumorRumor. On May 27, 2025, a batch of domains was registered under Take-Two's nameservers. Insider Tez2 found them on GTAForums and TechRadar reported them on September 9, 2025. Rockstar has not linked any of them to GTA 6.
Three of the domains (rydeme.app, what-up.app and buckme.app) matched apps that previews later described, which is why Ryde Me, WhatUp and BuckMe are listed above as real apps. The rest look like in-game websites, but nobody knows what they are for. The guesses below are commenters' guesses. We do not link to them.
Official apps are on screen in Rockstar's trailers or the Extended Look. Reported apps come from press who watched the game played in July 2026. Rumor covers names that only come from domain registrations. An app can move up a tier when it appears in official footage, and we update this page when it does.

Messages
officialapp
Text threads between Jason and Lucia appear in the Extended Look. KeenGamer, from IGN's preview, says messages and small gestures feed their relationship. That ignoring messages hurts it comes only from GTABase, a fan database (rumor).
KeenGamer (from IGN's preview): Jason and Lucia can call or message each other, and "messages and smaller interactions, including holding hands and opening doors for one another" count toward the relationship.
Rob Nelson told Famitsu that effort is up to the player and that you can restore the relationship (reported).
The series' Apple parody returns as the phone brand, with a 3D satnav app for setting waypoints. Postmode lists iFruit among the brands in the Extended Look.
The 3D satnav is on screen in the Extended Look and draws the route on the minimap; the iFruit name for it comes only from Postmode, which heads that section "3D iFruit SatNav" and lists iFruit among the brands
iFruit was the phone brand in GTA V

An app that sends someone to deliver your personal vehicle to you, new for the series. It is part of how you get around without driving across the map.
The phone's camera and photo app. Jason and Lucia can send photos to each other but cannot post them publicly, because they are on the run (Rob Nelson to Famitsu; KeenGamer).

Frequently asked questions
What apps are on the GTA 6 phone?
Three have appeared in Rockstar's own footage: WAINK, Ryde Me and the Messages app. Previews add Snapmatic, BuckMe for banking, Scooter Bros for vehicle delivery, WhatUp for messaging and a fitness app, and the phone itself is an iFruit with a 3D satnav.
What is Snapmatic in GTA 6?
The phone's camera app, named in Vice's preview roundup. Rob Nelson told Famitsu you can send photos to your partner but cannot upload them, because the couple is on the run. Rockstar has not shown it.
Can you fast travel with the phone in GTA 6?
Yes, according to previews. Ryde Me calls a car that takes you to a destination, which works as fast travel, and Scooter Bros sends someone to deliver your own vehicle so you do not have to walk back to it.
What is the WAINK app?
A car scanner. Point the phone at a parked car and WAINK shows how secure it is, what tool you need, its tracker tier, the registration cost and what it will sell for. It is the first step of stealing a car worth keeping.
Are there in-game websites in GTA 6?
Probably, but none is confirmed. Take-Two registered a batch of domains in May 2025, including leonidagov.org and hookers-galore.com, and three of them matched apps later described in previews. The rest are rumor until they show up in the game.
What changed on this page
Credited the line about scrolling the phone from the passenger seat to Dazed's own description rather than to preview interviews, and dated Postmode's recap August 28.
Corrected Snapmatic to a preview report (Rockstar has not shown it, and the feed in the Extended Look is a livestream Engadget reads as Lifeinvader) and replaced a fan-database claim about the phone with Rob Nelson's Famitsu description of it as a physical object in the world.
