Megamundo HQ is the downtown Vice City tower of Megamundo, a Spanish-language media company. It is the setting of the fourth and last job in the Extended Look: a grand opening where Jason and Lucia work private security, and which ends with the guest of honor taken hostage. One of Rockstar’s Vice City screenshots shows the tower at dusk, its name lit at the base, with a helicopter over the bay and a Ferris wheel on the waterfront behind.
The Extended Look job
| Time | What happens |
|---|---|
| Before 20:07 | Valentina has hired the pair as private security for the opening. |
| About 20:07 | At Vice City International Airport, Andrés de León lands by private jet and greets the pair. The group drives to the tower in a convoy. |
| About 21:33 | Inside the building. The elevator plays Phil Collins, “Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now).” |
| About 21:55 | Jason heads down the hallway toward the conference room. Community wikis say an executive conference room on the 24th floor has been set aside for Andrés. |
| Later | Petra Navarro, Megamundo’s chief operating officer according to recaps, needs Andrés downstairs. Recaps say he is due to speak; the gta.wiki synopsis has an unnamed Megamundo CEO addressing the guests when the gunmen strike. A masked crew posing as maintenance staff storms the event and takes him hostage. |
| Before 25:44 | Jason reaches the 26th floor (community wiki) and gets Andrés out. Lucia falls into an elevator shaft as the video cuts away. |
The closing monologue, which recaps credit to Cal Hampton, starts at 25:44. The Extended Look breakdown has the full scene list and songs.
Megamundo before the Extended Look

Who is connected
| Person | Role | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Andrés de León | The party-loving guest of honor the pair protect; taken hostage | official |
| Petra Navarro | The Megamundo executive running the opening. She is on screen and her name comes from the video; her chief operating officer title comes from recaps and the community wiki, not Rockstar | reported |
| Valentina | Hires Jason and Lucia; shares a name and look with a GTA Online character, a fan identification Rockstar has not confirmed | reported |
| The attackers | Masked, armed, unidentified | not announced |
Andrés’s exact job is unclear: recaps variously call him a Megamundo associate, an entertainment figure or a client. The Megamundo company page covers the network itself.
Real-world inspiration
Telemundo, the Spanish-language network based in the Miami area, is the obvious model, and the name borrows its “-mundo” ending. Community wikis also see nods to Univision and Mega TV. The community wiki describes the building as the company’s first corporate headquarters on American soil. rumor
Still unknown
- Who the attackers are and who sent them.
- Whether Lucia’s fall is a cliffhanger inside a mission or the end of one.
- Whether the tower stays open to explore after the job; see how interiors work.
- Where the job falls in the roughly 80-hour story. See the story page.
