Only Raw Records is the business that ties Vice City’s hip-hop crew together. Boobie Ike brings the money, Dre’Quan Priest runs the music, and the Real Dimez are the act they are betting on. Rockstar lays out the whole arrangement in its official bios and screenshot captions, which makes the label one of the best-documented places in the game that nobody has seen on a map.
How the label works
| Who | Role | What Rockstar says |
|---|---|---|
| Boobie Ike | Co-owner, the money | A local Vice City legend who turned his street years into property, a strip club and a studio; the label is the investment he cares about most, and the pair still need a hit |
| Dre’Quan Priest | Co-owner, finds and runs the acts | Always more hustler than gangster; even while dealing to pay the bills, music was the plan. Signing the Real Dimez may end his days booking acts into Boobie’s club |
| Real Dimez | The signed act | High school friends who turned shaking down dealers into rap money; one early hit with DWNPLY, then five years and “a whole lot of trouble” before signing |
Boobie’s line on the official site is the business plan in one sentence: “The club money pay for the studio, and the drug money pay for it all.” The club is the Jack of Hearts. Dre’Quan’s test market is the dance floor: in his words dancers are like his A&Rs, because a record that works there gets DJs spinning it. Another of his lines on the site: “You’re with the label now.” official
The studio on screen
Rockstar’s own captions describe three studio screenshots:
- A crowd in a recording studio, with Dre’Quan standing beside a man at the mixing desk (the image on this page).
- Bae-Luxe of the Real Dimez sitting in the studio holding headphones.
- The Real Dimez speaking into microphones in the studio.
Trailer 2 adds the Real Dimez performing on a neon stage at about 2:08. No trailer has shown the studio from outside.
Where Jason and Lucia fit
The Extended Look opens with Jason and Lucia collecting a package for Boobie at the Venture Apartments, a job broken up by a raid, and recaps describe Dre’Quan greeting them with hugs outside the Jack of Hearts. reported Rockstar has not said whether the leads ever work for the label itself.
Our reading: the label is a money problem with a deadline. Boobie funds it with club and drug money, Dre’Quan needs a hit to move up from booking the club, and the Real Dimez need lightning to strike twice. That is fertile ground for jobs, but nothing is announced.
Where the studio is
Not announced. It belongs to Boobie’s Vice City empire, but Rockstar has not shown the building from outside or named its street, and community wikis do not place it either.
Real-world inspiration
Fans compare Only Raw to Miami labels such as Maybach Music Group and Slip-n-Slide Records, and the Real Dimez to the Miami duo City Girls. Rockstar has not said so. rumor
Real music?
None yet. Rockstar has not released or announced an Only Raw or Real Dimez song as of September 23, 2026. Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, 34 tracks from Atlantic Records out November 19, 2026, has six singles out so far, all by real-world artists, and the full tracklist has not been published. Whether Real Dimez tracks play on the in-game radio is not known.
Still unknown
- Where the studio is, and whether you can walk in during free roam.
- Whether Only Raw is a mission chain, a business you get involved in or background for the story.
- Whether the Real Dimez land their second hit.
