The first sets arrived on May 6, 2025 with Trailer 2 and Rockstar's character and place pages. The latest are the screenshots Rockstar published with the Extended Look on August 27, 2026. Every image belongs to Rockstar Games, and the credit sits under each gallery.

How many official GTA 6 screenshots are there?
Rockstar's GTA VI download page lists 99 screenshots in its main gallery as of September 23, 2026, and this page shows all of them. The same page has 51 more images of Ultimate Edition items and 12 of the Vintage Vice City Pack, for 162 in total.
Where can I download the GTA 6 screenshots in 4K?
From Rockstar's download page at rockstargames.com/VI/downloads. The screenshots section has a download-all button that saves one zip file, and the images are 3840 × 2160. The copies on this page are 1600 pixels wide so the gallery loads quickly on a phone.
Which GTA 6 screenshots are the newest?
The screenshots Rockstar published with An Extended Look on August 27, 2026. RockstarINTEL counted 29 new images that day, and Push Square counted 30 in a September 1 roundup, noting that some, like the iguana shot, had gone to influencers first. The first sets came with Trailer 2 and the character and place pages on May 6, 2025. Rockstar does not date individual images, so this page groups them by subject. The next batch is due on September 29, 2026: Game Informer says its GTA VI cover story brings 12 new, exclusive screenshots in its digital issue that day. Is there an official GTA 6 map screenshot?
Not a full one. The only official map art so far is a cropped corner in the Rockstar Store photo of the $399.99 Collector's Box poster, and Rockstar says the poster's back has "a full view of the Leonida map". The box ships November 19, 2026. That photo is a store product image, not a screenshot, so it is not in this gallery. Aerial shots such as the Leonida Keys seaplane image show parts of Leonida, but any full map you see online is a leak or a fan reconstruction.
Can I use a GTA 6 screenshot as a wallpaper?
The originals are 16:9 at 3840 × 2160, so they fit a 4K monitor. For a phone, the official artwork works better because Rockstar also cut it in portrait. Our wallpapers page has every piece in phone, desktop and square sizes, and all but the album cover in ultrawide.
Are leaked GTA 6 screenshots included?
No. Every image here comes from Rockstar Games. We do not host or link images from the 2022 hack or later leaks. The leaks page covers those events with links to press coverage only.
