UK players can now pre-order GTA 6 from O2 for £20 up front and £1.39 a month for 36 months at 0% APR. Virgin Media O2 announced the plan in its own newsroom on September 21, 2026, pitching it as “under 5p a day”. It is open to O2 and non-O2 customers aged 18 or over, subject to a credit check, paid by Direct Debit, with credit from Telefonica UK Ltd. Rockstar has not commented.

36 payments of £1.39 come to £50.04, so the plan costs 5p more than the £69.99 UK price of the Standard Edition. The “under 5p a day” line works out at about 4.6p.
O2’s release does not name the edition or console. GTA BOOM reports it is a digital download code for PS5 or Xbox Series X|S, that it includes the Vintage Vice City Pack, and that the term can be shortened to as few as three months (reported). The total matches the Standard Edition and rules out the £89.99 Ultimate Edition (our reading).
Check before you sign
- It is credit. The plan needs a credit check and runs for three years. You keep paying into 2029 whether you are still playing or not.
- Bonuses. The Vintage Vice City Pack comes with every pre-order and purchase before November 20, 2026 (Take-Two), so an O2 order made now qualifies. Take-Two tied the free GTA+ month to digital pre-orders, and O2 has not said whether its codes include it. See pre-order bonuses.
- Refunds. O2 has not published how it delivers the code or how cancellation works. The PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store refund rules in our cancellation guide cover orders placed on those stores, not a code bought from O2.
Why it matters
The deal spreads the cost and saves nothing. If you can pay £69.99 now, buying outright costs 5p less and avoids a three-year credit agreement. If a lump sum is the problem, O2’s plan lets you lock in a copy for £20 and pay the rest interest-free.

Buying in the US or Canada?
These are amazon.com listings. Amazon says its PS5 box only works on PlayStation accounts registered in the US or Canada. Everywhere else, buy from a store in your own country.
