Rockstar Games released the official GTA 6 launch trailer on October 15, 2026. It is the first new trailer-length video since the 26-minute Extended Look aired on Netflix in August, and it debuts a new song, “Flower in a Hurricane,” from Justice, the French electronic duo Rockstar names as the composer of the game’s original score.
The trailer follows Jason and Lucia after a simple score goes wrong and pulls them into a wider criminal conspiracy that reaches across Leonida and Vice City. Rockstar says the footage was captured entirely in-game on PlayStation 5, the same approach it used for Trailer 2 and the Extended Look.
What’s confirmed, what’s reported
Rockstar’s own X account posted the trailer and named the song and its featured artists: Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. That makes the trailer’s existence, its length and its credited artists CONFIRMED. The reunion angle (Justice and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker shared a 2025 Grammy for “Neverender”) and outlets’ shot-by-shot reading of the footage are REPORTED, drawn from music press and gaming outlets that covered the drop within hours of its release.
“Flower in a Hurricane” is one of the 34 tracks on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the collection Rockstar and Atlantic Records announced on September 17. Justice’s score itself, music written to underscore gameplay rather than licensed for the soundtrack, has not been released as its own album, and Rockstar has given no further detail on it.
GTA 6 still launches November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Nothing in the trailer changes the release date or editions, and pre-load still opens November 12.
What it means for players
Rockstar’s last two major launches each got a short trailer like this one 8 to 19 days before release. This one lands over a month out, which points to more marketing, not less, in the weeks ahead rather than a final send-off. Players getting ready for launch can start with the pre-order guide and the countdown, and anyone following the soundtrack can track new songs on the music hub.
