Rockstar and Justice announced Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score on October 29, 2026, a separate album of the French duo’s instrumental score for the game. It arrives December 11, 2026, three weeks after the game itself, on major streaming services, CD and vinyl.

Not the same as The Album

GTA 6 now has two distinct official music releases. “Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album,” announced September 17, is a 34-track collection of new songs by artists including Travis Scott and Morgan Wallen, out with the game on November 19. “Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score” is different: it is Justice’s instrumental score, the music written to underscore gameplay rather than licensed or vocal tracks, and it ships three weeks after launch.

Rockstar first credited Justice, the Grammy-winning duo of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, as the game’s score composers in the October 15 launch trailer, which debuted their song “Flower in a Hurricane” featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. That song is one of the 34 tracks on The Album, not the new score release, according to outlet reporting on the announcement.

“Pusher,” out now

The album’s lead single, “Pusher,” is streaming now. It is Justice’s first collaboration with French producer Gesaffelstein and runs about seven minutes, building from pounding bass and siren-like synths into a disco-driven second half, per outlet reviews of the track.

What’s confirmed, what’s still unclear

The December 11 date, the streaming, CD and vinyl formats, and Justice as composer are CONFIRMED, from Rockstar’s own announcement reported across music and gaming outlets. The exact track count is less settled: outlet coverage of Rockstar’s description says 30 main tracks plus digital bonus tracks, while a figure of 50 tracks for the digital edition has circulated without a published tracklist to back it up. Treat the full count as unconfirmed until Rockstar posts one.

Rockstar has not said whether the score will appear in-game as a dynamic, adaptive soundtrack or purely as a standalone album experience, and has not announced vinyl pricing or shipping details beyond the December 11 date reported by outlets.

What it means for players

Nothing about launch changes: GTA 6 still releases November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and The Album still arrives that same day. The Original Score is a separate, later release for players who want Justice’s instrumental work on its own.
