Rockstar named the first six GTA 6 radio stations on October 8, 2026, ending more than a year of speculation built on leaked footage. Each station has a real-world musician attached as an in-game host, and previews of all six are streaming now in the Music section of the official Grand Theft Auto VI website.
The six stations
- Cocoteo FM, Latin music (reggaeton, dembow, bachata, merengue), hosted by Bad Bunny and RaiNao, playing in-world DJs named El Martillo and La Gata.
- AfroBank FM, African music, hosted by Nigerian star Burna Boy alongside DJ and producer Palms Trax.
- Flash FM, pop, a returning name from the original Vice City, hosted by Robyn and model Alex Consani.
- The Chamber 106.6, metal, hosted by Slayer’s Kerry King and Tom Araya.
- Back Country Radio, country, hosted by Morgan Wallen and Lana Del Rey.
- Dirty South Classics, Southern hip-hop, hosted by Trick Daddy and Trina.
Rockstar says more stations are coming in categories it has already named but not filled: classic rock, modern hip-hop, dance, ’80s, electronic, blues, ballads and talk radio. The reveal also confirmed on-demand podcasts, playable for the first time in the series both in vehicles and on foot through in-game earbuds.
What was rumor before this
Press coverage of footage that leaked in August 2026 had already reported several of these exact names, including Cocoteo FM, Back Country Radio, Dirty South Classics and The Chamber 106.6, tagged as rumor on our radio stations page because Rockstar had not confirmed them. That leak coverage never named AfroBank FM at all, and it did not name any station’s real-world hosts; the hosts and AfroBank FM are new with this announcement. Two leak-reported names, V-Rock and Emotion 98.3, both returning from the 2002 Vice City, were not part of Rockstar’s October 8 list and remain unconfirmed.
What’s still not known
Rockstar has not said how many stations the game will ship with in total, whether any of Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album’s 34 tracks play on these stations, or whether the classic rock, dance and other named-but-unfilled categories will be confirmed before launch.
What it means for players
If you were waiting to see whether your favorite Vice City-era station made the cut, Flash FM is back, but V-Rock and Emotion 98.3 are not confirmed yet. You can preview all six stations on Rockstar’s site before GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026. For the full list of leaked names still unconfirmed and how radio fits into the game’s audio systems, see our GTA 6 radio stations guide and the music hub.

Rockstar has named six so far: Cocoteo FM (Latin music, hosted by Bad Bunny and RaiNao), AfroBank FM (African music, hosted by Burna Boy and Palms Trax), Flash FM (pop, hosted by Robyn and Alex Consani), The Chamber 106.6 (metal, hosted by Slayer's Kerry King and Tom Araya), Back Country Radio (country, hosted by Morgan Wallen and Lana Del Rey) and Dirty South Classics (Southern hip-hop, hosted by Trick Daddy and Trina).

Yes. Rockstar's own announcement lists additional unnamed categories, including classic rock, modern hip-hop, dance, '80s, electronic, blues, ballads and talk radio, with no stations confirmed for them yet.
Can I listen to GTA 6 radio stations before launch?
Yes, partially. Rockstar is streaming previews of the six confirmed stations in the Music section of the official Grand Theft Auto VI site ahead of the November 19, 2026 launch.
