“We’re launching GTA 6 as a single player experience on two major platforms, and therefore there’s no recurrent consumer spending anticipated with regard to this launch,” Zelnick said at the company’s virtual annual shareholder meeting. Status: confirmed, from Take-Two’s CEO at a shareholder meeting (quoted by Inven Global and GTA BOOM).
What Zelnick said
Single-player at launch. No GTA 6 online mode and no microtransaction economy on day one. The existing GTA Online, on GTA V, remains what Zelnick called “a robust business” and will keep running after GTA 6 ships. A Rockstar tribunal filing reported a week earlier, on September 10, mentions a 32-player online format for an unnamed project; see the court filing report and GTA 6 Online.
PC is “more and more important.” Zelnick said Take-Two targets platforms “for which there’s a meaningful audience.” He did not announce a PC version of GTA 6 or give a date. Rockstar has brought every mainline GTA since III to PC eventually, and GamingBible read the comment as a PC tease; GTA 6 on PC has the past gaps and every official line.
The company is on plan. Take-Two’s fiscal 2027 guidance of $8.0 to $8.2 billion in net bookings, reiterated on August 7, is built around the November launch. Zelnick defended management’s record with a share price up about 1,200 percent since March 2007, against 440 percent for the S&P 500 and 980 percent for the Nasdaq (Inven Global). He gave no pre-order figures.
13 languages. The Microsoft Store listing shows 13 supported languages (official), matching what Inven Global reported from the meeting.

Take-Two filed the results with the SEC on September 22. Holders of 159,237,889 shares were represented in person or by proxy, and every proposal passed.

Zelnick took about 97 percent of the votes cast for or against him. The charter amendment, which limits some personal liability for officers under Delaware law, took effect on September 18. The filing contains no GTA 6 news.

What was not said
No Switch 2 version (see GTA 6 on Switch 2), no console bundle, no performance mode, no online release window and no pre-order numbers. The release date page has the full state of play.
